“I will be moving to FC Barcelona”, Barcelona in talks with the €1,731-Per-Week 22-year-old midfielder

Barcelona, a powerhouse in Spain’s La Liga, is allegedly interested in Angers SCO midfielder Azzedine Ounahi, the 22-year-old midfielder
Mundo Deportivo of Spain claims that Barcelona is keeping tabs on Azzedine Ounahi. Morocco’s 22-year-old star has already made an impression at the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The president of Angers SCO, Said Chabane, has previously conceded that keeping the player would be tough.
For most of his career, Azzedine Ounahi has been able to fly beneath the radar. The international player from Morocco developed his skills mostly in his own country before relocating to France in 2018. After brief stops with RC Strasbourg and US Avranches, he signed with Angers SCO late last year.
The French club has relied on the 22-year-old on a consistent basis. He has appeared in 47 games for them. His popularity, though, soared when he led Morocco to a surprising World Cup victory. Foremost among the Atlas Lions’ many important players is Ounahi. He has helped them dominate in Qatar. And Barcelona has taken notice of the player because of his accomplishments.
Will Azzedine Ounahi move to the Camp Nou?
Next year, Barcelona will most likely start looking for a new midfielder. They may want to find a replacement for Sergio Busquets. But they may also want a box-to-box midfielder. The future of Franck Kessie, who just transferred to Barcelona from Spotify Camp Nou, remains unclear.
Despite the fact that Kessie will not be leaving Barcelona in the next January transfer window, everything might change in the summer. For this reason, the Blaugrana must be ready for everything. Manchester City will try to re-sign the Portuguese playmaker despite the fact that Barcelona has made him a top priority for next season.
As a result, Ounahi is now a strong contender to replace Silva. The 22-year-old isn’t exactly a glamorous choice. But he’ll be a great utility player to have as a backup to Pedri and Gavi. The player who made it to the semi-finals of the World Cup would not mind sharing playing time. As a result, a relocation this summer is feasible.
Said Chabane, SCO of Angers, has previously commented on the increasing buzz around Ounahi. The French club will have a tough time keeping the player, he has conceded. It remains to be seen whether the kid makes the transfer to Barcelona in the next season.
