FC Barcelona are going through a lot of financial crisis. However, they were looking to sign a number of players in the summer transfer window of 2024 and sell quite a few stars. The Catalan Club has not been able to sign any players and more than 70 percent of the summer transfer window has been over.
The club needs to sell an important star player for a good price and Raphinha was being looked as one such player who would be sold. However, none of the players including Raphinha wants to leave the club. The Brazilian had an impact season in 2023/24. Barcelona has included him in the transfer market because of his effective market value. Given that there are reports of new right-winger arriving, Barcelona are looking to offload Raphinha in this transfer window.
Raphinha wants to prove his worth at FC Barcelona
MARCA reports that Raphinha does not want to leave Barcelona at this moment as he has a contract with the club since 2027. The player is now in United States with the other Barcelona players and wants to perform well in the pre-season. He is training hard under the new manager, Hans flick and wants to make him feel that he will be an integral part of the squad in this season.
Barcelona are happy with the attitude of Raphinha, given that he is training hard and wants to prove a point to the coach. Barcelona admits his dedication and Flick feels that he could be a great utility player in the season given that he can play in both the wings in the upcoming season.
Raphinha is wanted by many clubs in the Premier League and in Saudi Arabia. However, he does not intend to consider those offers and wants to prove his worth at FC Barcelona. It now remains to be seen what happens finally with the Brazilian star.
