Barcelona is in talks with €4,615-PER-WEEK Borussia Dortmund player to secure his signing in the January transfer window

We are quickly approaching the start of the January transfer window. Barcelona will likely be looking to add reinforcements to their roster. They want to continue their impressive start at home and in the UEFA Europa League.

Barcelona is anticipated to begin negotiations with various players about a transfer to Camp Nou at the conclusion of the season despite the club’s diminished market power due to Financial Fair Play laws.

The newspaper Diario AS names Youssoufa Moukoko as one of the players. With a spectacular season in the Bundesliga under his belt, the youngster from Borussia Dortmund is one of Europe’s hottest talents right now.

A spot on the German national squad was secured after the kid contributed to 12 goals in all tournaments before the World Cup. However, it looks like the player will be free to engage with other teams during the January transfer window. His contract with Dortmund will expire at the conclusion of the season.

Will Youssoufa Moukoko move to Barcelona next summer?

According to the rumour mill, Barcelona is one of the teams interested in negotiating with Moukoko. The Catalans have been keeping an eye on the German international. They are prepared to pounce on any available transfer window this summer.

With Moukoko set to become a free agent after the season, Barça would want to sign him. Several Premier League teams, notably Chelsea, have been made aware of the youngster’s uncertain future at Dortmund. So the club faces heavy competition.

To further thwart competition from clubs like Barcelona, English clubs may try to recruit Moukoko in the January transfer window for a nominal cost.

Dortmund is presently attempting to extend the striker’s contract. So, much will rely on the outcome of those talks. Now, we have to wait and see if the move does go through.
