Reportedly, PSG is willing to pay €100 million to acquire Ousmane Dembele from La Liga powerhouse Barcelona
According to SPORT of Spain, PSG will attempt to acquire Ousmane Dembele during the next summer transfer window. It’s estimated that Barcelona will want roughly €100 million to let the French international striker go.
Since joining Barcelona from Borussia Dortmund, Ousmane Dembele has undoubtedly underperformed. The Frenchman was one of the club’s most costly acquisitions, although he struggled with injuries during his first few seasons there. But with Xavi Hernandez as his coach, he’s become much better.
The 25-year-old played a significant role in helping France go to the 2022 FIFA World Cup final. Dembele has had a productive 2022–23 season with Barcelona, contributing to six goals and seven assists in 22 games. The player is in the last year of his contract, though, and PSG has taken notice.
Kylian Mbappe is allegedly considering leaving Paris Saint-Germain during the next summer transfer window. The teenage striker is unhappy at PSG and may decide to leave the club. And despite recent leaving rumours, Neymar’s future at the Ligue 1 champs is not etched in stone.

Will Ousmane Dembele leave the Camp Nou?
To that end, PSG should acquire at least one new attacking player during the next summer transfer window. Dembele, who Les Parisiens have been monitoring for quite some time, has recently become an attractive option for the French powerhouse club. However, the 25-year-old is very expensive, with Barcelona asking for €100 million.
Dembele’s deal with Barcelona does not have a €50 million release clause, despite popular belief to the contrary. Furthermore, Barcelona will not even consider a bid under €100 million. Instead of risking losing the French international to PSG or any other club, the Blaugrana will work to sign him to a long-term contract.
Barcelona is reportedly moving forward with contract talks with the 25-year-old. It remains to be seen whether the Catalan powerhouses can guarantee his future. What’s more, it’s interesting to think about whether or not PSG will be willing to pay €100 million to acquire Dembele this summer.
